Company: Pro-Fit Performance Club Fitting, LLC is a company based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Pro-Fit owners Jim White and Greg Gohannesen created a custom club fitting software system, PXIII, that fits a golf clubs to players.
Project: Branding, Web, Public Relations, Video
Challenge: Pro-Fit came to Turbine as a new company that sells a golf club fitting software system. PXIII, the software created by Pro-Fit, was the first of its kind and brand new to the golf industry. Pro-Fit was looking for branding, a new website, and a way to promote their appearance at the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show.
Recommendations: To launch PXIII, we recommended creating a new logo and a custom themed website. To promote the workshops at the PGA show, Turbine suggested an overview video, online press releases, and newsletters that be sent to PGA professionals.
Result: Turbine created a custom themed website for Pro-Fit as well as a new logo to fit the product. With a site that dedicates portions to golfers, PGA pros, and club manufacturers, Pro-Fit covers all of the bases when explaining PXIII. The site provides an in depth look as to what the product is and how it benefit golfers. Product screenshots and a Core Features page are integral parts of the website that show how the product is different from the rest. The logo was created to represent what PXIII is, a custom club-fitting system.
Turbine helped raise awareness for Pro-Fit’s appearance at the PGA Merchandise show in January 2014 by writing two online press releases and three eNewsletters. The newsletters were sent to 20,000 PGA professionals throughout the country, encouraging them to sign up for the PXIII workshops. The three newsletters received an average open rate of 15% or higher. Press releases generated over 80,000 impressions and 1400 reads.
To further promote the PXIII brand and generate buzz for the PGA Merchandise Show, we created an overview video. This four minute video was sent out in the newsletters and played at the PGA show.
