JASON PETERSEN – CEO
Jason founded Turbine Digital in May of 2010. His skill set comes from over 15 years in the digital marketing industry. As CEO of Turbine Digital, Jason leads a team of strategists, developers, marketers and creatives to come up with the best digital marketing strategies possible for Turbine’s clients.
Prior to starting Turbine Digital, Jason held roles as the Vice President of FocalPoint Publishing for 6 years, developing business strategies by connecting neighborhoods, homeowners and businesses. Jason also owned and operated Ajalon for 10 years, which provided design direction in logo, web design and print to clients around the nation. He grew the business from 6 initial clients to over 300 in the ten years he spent there. Jason owns a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is active in the Lincoln tech community as well as the Lincoln community at large
HOLLY PETERSEN – VP OF CLIENT SERVICES
Holly has been with Turbine Digital since January 2011 and holds the position of Vice President of Client Services. She works closely with clients on their products to focus on client needs and translating that over to our internal operations to come up with the best solutions for the client.
Holly has been working with clients in a variety of industries for over a decade with companies such a Koch Industries, Nature’s Variety, AIG Auto and Western National Group. She also holds the role as CEO of Cinnamon Social and will be the leader of that company when the product is ready for market. Holly has education from all over the Midwest including Kansas State University and Texas Woman’s University. Her latest education has been from Friends University where she studied Human Resource Management from 2007-2008.
KAROLE GUBSER – Director of Operations
Karole has been with the Turbine Digital team since October 2013. As Director of Operations you’ll find her in the midst of nearly every project at Turbine. She works closely with both clients and contractors to make sure everything is running smoothly. Karole went to school for Early Childhood Education, but has found a passion in web design and digital marketing.
TINA MCHUGH – FINANCIAL MANAGER
Tina keeps Turbine on the right track with all of our numbers. She has worked in the area of finance since 2002 beginning with mortgage experience and then moving into general accounting and bookkeeping. She specializes in accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, budgeting, payroll, payroll taxes, and sales tax. Tina graduated with a degree in accounting from Doane college in Crete, Nebraska.
MAGGIE KONZ – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIST
Maggie has been in digital marketing for 5 years, both working in the industry and holding several internships. As the Business Development Strategist at Turbine Digital, she is responsible for locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners, as well as discovering and exploring opportunities. Many times our clients are confused as to what they should do about all the digital marketing options swirling around. Who can you ask questions? Get advice? Maggie is a passionate about helping our clients find the right decisions for their business first and foremost. Maggie is originally from Kearney, NE. She attended Mizzou and studied Journalism with an Emphasis in Strategic Communication. Her favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate and she loves to sail.
JORDAN BARRY – VIDEOGRAPHER
Jordan has been working with Turbine since Spring of 2014 as a videographer. Jordan has always loved videography but started doing it professionally in 2011. He has a keen eye for slick design and the right light that is bound to make your videos even better than you imagined.

Gilly, Sunny, and Liam are Turbine’s favorite dogs to have around. Gilly, a white Collie, enjoys long walks, begging for scraps, fetch, and sleeping at the foot of the bed. Sunny, a sable Sheltie, is naturally an introvert and enjoys lots of time alone and prefers less noise, unless she’s the one making it. Liam, a tri-color Collie, enjoys long runs with Jason, licking people, trying to sit on furniture like a human, and endless games of fetch.
