Challenge: Epp wanted to improve their website’s functionality, appearance, and messaging. Along with that, they wanted to enhance their current, positive brand image by using various PR outlets. Epp was greatly concerned with their search engine placement and wanted to become one of the top sites listed when searching for foundation repair in Lincoln.

Recommendations: Turbine first suggested a website content refresh for Epp. For the site we recommended a new homepage layout and the addition of custom photography for the website. From a public relations standpoint, Turbine suggested full service social media posting, monthly blog posts, monthly eNewsletters, and bimonthly press releases. To improve Epp Concrete’s search, we encouraged the use of Google AdWords.

Result: Turbine first rewrote all of Epp’s site content. After the content was complete, we altered the homepage layout and added in custom photography that we shot. Currently, the Epp Concrete Construction Facebook and Google+ pages are completely run by Turbine members. Facebook posts are done daily, Monday through Friday. Turbine drafts monthly eNewsletters, monthly blog posts, and bimonthly press  releases. eNewsletters are sent to around 700 people, with an average open rate of 40% or higher. The press releases achieve 20,000 impressions or more per article. The blog on the Epp site is now the third most viewed page. Turbine drafts and posts one blog each month. Google AdWords implementation has over 25,000 impressions and counting.

Turbine suggested that Facebook be used to tell the Epp story. It’s a place to share employee stories, work updates, and concrete construction information. Since the Epp crew is always out and about, Turbine provides full-service posting for the client, meaning we take care of all Facebook posts.
